Glastonbury weather watch - latest update for the weekend in 2008!

So the beautiful month of June is here, and together with it the Glastonbury festival at the end of the month.

After five years of rain , everybody is eagerly awaiting some nicer weather. At the moment we still have 23 days to go - so more than three weeks and as you can imagine it is impossible to make any precise forecast over sich a long period of time. I am looking forward to providing some lawn aeration to the Glastonbury farm field and stick my tent-pegs in!

And although I keep checking the weather forecast - in the end I will be there anyway - rain or shine. You can now look up the line-up on the glastonbury website!

As far as I can decipher the bbc monthly outlook for June, they are covering themselves on all fronts apart from predicting a total scorcher or apocalyptic flooding...

Glastonbury London weather

These are the bands/artists that I am excited about seeing, no matter the weather: Leonard Cohen on Sunday on the Pyramid Stage, Manu Chao who appears twice, once on Saturday on the Pyramid Stage and then on the Jazz World Stage on Sunday. Joan Baez is playing the acoustic stage on Sunday - which could be potentially interesting.

Then there are: The Mystery Jets, Team Waterpolo, The Feeling, Editors, Martha Wainwright, The Verve, John Mayer, Vampire Weekend, Biffy Clyro and many, many more...
