London has a 20% chance for a white christmas!

As the temperatures have been sinking to as low as -5C, thisislondon.co.uk speculate that we just might have a white christmas this year!

Paul Michaelwaite, forecaster for Netweather.tv says that "We have been expecting cold air to be close by to the UK during the Christmas period since November though, and that's not changed.


Whether the cold will be over the UK and whether or not that will provide snowfall is of course the big question."

Although London has a chance of 1:5 , the chances for Edinburgh and Manchester are even higher at almost 1:3!

Bookies are already shaking - not with cold but with fear at the prospect of snow at the 25th.
It seems to be a popular thing to bet on.
You would think that people have other things on their minds at christmas, but I guess money is a concern for many at a time when we spend so much!
